Cut the chicken breast crosswise - do not cut all the way through. Pound lightly, then fill with raw ham, sheep's cheese and Quendl. Season with salt and pepper. Fry in oil on both sides and then finish cooking in the oven at 160 degrees. The Kräuterwirt recommends homemade pasta with turnip ragout as a side dish.
The name is no coincidence, as Kräuterwirt Dunzinger in Hirschbach im Mühlkreis uses a wide variety of herbs from its own herb garden for cooking. Classic home-style cooking, vegetarian and vegan dishes are on the menu here, while the snack menu also includes many dishes for the small appetite in between meals. Most of the ingredients are sourced from local farmers, many of which are organic. You won't stay thirsty for long here either, as the Kräuterwirt offers a large selection of homemade herbal juices such as nettle or fragrant rose blossom.
