Duration:
01.04.2025 - 31.03.2026

The aim of project BA0300325 - Beer culture on two wheels is to increase the attractiveness and visibility of the cross-border region in the Bavarian-Upper Austrian area. The focus is on the traditional brewing and beer culture, which is made digitally tangible as an identity-forming feature and embedded in the tourist context. The thematic focus is on the art of brewing and glass art, the culture of enjoyment, brewery tours, beer gardens, hop growing as well as nature and environmental aspects.

The core of the project is the development of a cross-border, digital cycle tour network that is particularly tailored to the needs of e-bike and gravel bike riders. The routes are to be published as a collection on a leading outdoor platform and specifically enable regional companies to develop accompanying products and services related to beer culture along the route.
