Mühlviertel linseed oil apples
Ingredients for 4 people:
- 1.5 kg waxy potatoes
- 1/4 l milk
- 1/8 l whipping cream
- Salt, linseed oil to taste
Preparation:
- Boil the potato with the skin on, peel and cut into flakes.
- Mix the potatoes in hot milk to form a thick mash, add cream, season with salt (pepper if necessary) and finally mix in the valuable linseed oil.
- The Mühlviertel linseed oil potatoes are served with a dash of linseed oil.
This is an excellent main course with bread or salad or as a side dish.
