A mummified corpse - also known as an airborne priest.
According to records, the naturally mummified corpse was the canon Franz Xaverius Sydler de Rosenegg (4 May 1709 - 2 September 1746), who was buried just one day after his death, which is why it is assumed that he died of a contagious disease and that he was given a medicine "for life and death".The mummy can be viewed after paying €2.
Access to the crypt is free of charge.
In winter, access to the crypt is not cleared.
