The power of slowness

There are many reasons for going on a pilgrimage. Some seek the beauty of nature, the simple life, the cosiness and therefore time to enjoy themselves. Others seek closeness to the divine, perhaps also a new approach to faith through nature.
We set off in the fascinating beauty of this part of the world, savouring life with all our senses and encountering creation with mindfulness. Under Pilgrim's Way leads us through the parishes of Schlägl Abbey.
The pilgrimage begins with an impulse that sets us on our way. We walk in conversation or in silence. We will end the day with a short prayer at the destination.
The hiking routes are on the Way of St James, the Path of Deceleration, the Danube Trail, the Granite Pilgrimage Trail and the Martinus Trail

Meeting point in front of the parish church of the starting point at 9.00 am
Return to the starting point at approx. 4.00 pm
