Our apartment is the ideal base for those traveling with their own horse and wishing to explore the Mühlviertel hill country on four hooves. Functional, clean, and cozy, it offers everything riders need for an uncomplicated getaway – no frills, with plenty of nature right outside the door.

 

What to expect

For riders and horses: Arrival with your own horse is possible. Pasture paddocks directly on the property, hay and water provided upon request, saddle and grooming area, lockable tack room.

Top location for trail riding: Connection to the excellently marked riding trail network of the Mühlviertel core region and Mühlviertel Sterngartl with diverse stages through forests, over meadows, and past granite formations. Rest stops and horse-friendly accommodations are easily accessible on the routes.

The apartment: Simple, practical furnishings with a living/sleeping area, small kitchenette (hot plates, refrigerator, coffee maker, kettle, basic dishes), shower/WC, bed linens, and towels. Wi-Fi and parking available on the property.

After the ride: Seating outdoors or in the cozy rider’s lounge “Schlaumeierei,” space to dry your gear, tips for round trips, daily stages, and horse-friendly inns.

Please register in advance for horse arrivals (number of horses, need for hay, paddock size).

Hoof protection is recommended; some sections lead over paved paths.

We are happy to provide maps and app tips for the routes at check-in.
