Enjoy the colours, the scent and take time for a cup of tea from the herb garden, perhaps with a book, with the sweet smell of the beehive in the bee air room.
The Biberhof has been farmed organically since 1995 and is nestled in the gently rolling hills of the Mühlviertel (800 metres above sea level), north of Freistadt.

Our summer freshness apartment awaits you with an entrance hall, a private kitchen with stove, refrigerator with freezer, and an additional wood stove (it can be heated during the winter months – enjoy the crackling of the wood), living room with television and Wi-Fi, bathroom with shower and bathtub (separate), bedroom with double bed and, upon request, a travel crib. In the living room, there is a sofa bed for an additional person.
On request, we prepare a organic breakfast basket for you:
- own, farm-produced products such as granola muesli, strawberry or raspberry jam, flaxseed, hemp nuts, eggs
- organic dairy products from organic farmer Graser in Windhaag (production on the farm & direct marketing)
- seasonal fruits (in the strawberry or raspberry season, of course from our Biberhof)
- organic baked goods or fresh pastries from the local bakery

The farm is run by us, Leo and Franziska Friesenecker, together with our children. Due to our personal interests and inner conviction that natural land management can only function in a coordinated diversity, many branches of the business and organic food have emerged at Biberhof in recent years.
