Achatzberger Hof - Landwirtschaft & Imkerei

Our farm - the "Achatzberger Hof" - is located in the beautiful Mühlviertel, not far from the district town of Perg.
In addition to 35 dairy cows, which are fed with the carefully harvested fodder from our own meadows and fields, our farm has also been home to bees "again" since 2016.

First mentioned in a document in 1380 and traditionally managed since then, we work according to the motto "With heart & brain - and of course WITHOUT genetic engineering".

We currently look after 30 bee colonies at two locations, with the Carnica bee breed that is common in our region. From our home apiary, the busy "ladies" fly over our own areas as well as the surrounding orchards.

Our bees collect the particularly aromatic honeydew or wildflower honey from the family's own mixed forest.

Carefully harvested, the ripe honey is poured into the jar unadulterated, allowing us to guarantee 100% natural, award-winning honey from Upper Austria!
