Our choir

is a special kind of community. Enthusiasm for choral activities and a friendly team spirit accompany us in all our performances and rehearsals.

The initial spark for the choir, which was founded in 1989 by Elisabeth Pfeiler, came after a very successful Renaissance concert. Since then, there have been countless concerts and performances, as well as concert tours and choir competitions at home and abroad and CD recordings. We currently have 32 singers from all over the Mühlviertel region.

A cappella literature from the Renaissance to modern times, whether sacred or secular, serious or entertaining - always with the joy of singing together. The choral works composed for us by our choirmaster William Mason are just as much a part of our much-sung repertoire as the folk music of our immediate homeland and the musical souvenirs we bring back from our travels.
