Laser - Biathlon

Try yourself as a biathlete - hit targets 10 metres away with a laser rifle under pressure.

In addition to our cross-country skiing programme, we offer all interested cross-country skiers, whether skaters or classic skiers, the opportunity to get a taste of biathlon and experience the fascination of this sport. With exclusive appointments, it is also possible to practise on an ongoing basis. A modern laser system with 4 shooting ranges is available in the starting area of the cross-country ski trails next to the curling rink. This silent and lead-free way of "shooting" is completely safe and also suitable for children and young people, no prior knowledge is required.
Expert instructions and tips are given on site.

Newcomers first receive instruction in the handling of the laser rifle and the shooting technique, including breathing and shooting rhythm, based on shooting exercises. Depending on the number of participants, biathlon laps can then be run, preferably on the A1 arena trail (1.2 km).

Two types of operation are offered when the arena trail is groomed:

• Taster sessions for all interested parties at no extra charge:
  Every Saturday from 10:30 to 12:00 and during the school holidays in Upper Austria and Lower Austria additionally on Wednesdays from 10:30 to 12:00.
  The use of the shooting range depends on how busy it is at the time.
• Exclusive appointments with undisturbed use of the shooting range:
  depending on the number of people, approx. 1 hour flexible by telephone arrangement
