Diakoniewerk Oberösterreich operates a "home for senior citizens" in Bad Zell with four shared houses, a day care centre for the elderly and five flats with special services.
The home offers living with care in shared houses for 48 elderly people, with four shared houses each accommodating twelve elderly people in need of care and support. The residents of two house communities moved in on 1 February 2016, with the other two planned for April and June respectively.
In addition, five flats with care are available for senior citizens who still live independently within their own four walls but do not want to do without support.
