At the ancient Press Building, the Most Tavern and "Inn at Trosselsdorf" present historic machinery and tools related to the production of Most and a film on this process from the year 1966.
Most is a pressed and fermented juice made of apples and pears, especially common in many parts of Upper Austria and is a typical drink of this Region. In the Most Cellar of the Miesenberger Family, large quantities of this fine drink were produced until 1981. The historic fruit press on the upper floor was driven by a horse. The fresh juice then ran into the cellar underneath.
On May 01, 1994, a Most Museum was opened on the upper storey of this tiny building where visitors are provided with insights into the history and culture of the local Most tradition. On display are old and vernacular farming machinery and a variety of remarkable tools that were needed to produce the delicious fruit wine.
