The Klausteich pond in Linden was originally built to float timber, but today people mainly bathe on the south-east bank.

The romantic pond is not accessible by car, the last 500 metres have to be covered on foot. The water is completely clear, but has a distinct brown colour due to the high humic substance content.
You must bring your own food and drink.

Coming from Linden near St. Georgen am Walde, continue straight ahead on Greiner Straße towards Alt Melon. The Klausteich is located after 8.5 km on the left-hand side (signpost). After approx. 500 m on foot you will reach the Klausteich.
