While the beginner skiers are still trying out their first turns in the Kinderland with magic carpet, some snowplough world champions are already whizzing down the Pfarrerberg. LIFTING is easy for children in Liebenau - thanks to the platter lift - and children can use it independently after just a few practice runs.

Advanced skiers prefer the wave run in the Liebenau sports arena and all junior ski crossers can be found on the minicross course.

Of course, we also offer a SKIING and CROSS-CYCLING SCHOOL. Private lessons, taster courses or public courses!

At 967 meters, the winter sports resort of Liebenau is the highest municipality in Upper Austria and offers the best snow conditions all winter long.

Sportarena Liebenau means SKIING, COUNTRY SKIING & MORE! The winter hiking trail in the immediate vicinity invites you to go for a walk, even with snowshoes and the illuminated natural curling tracks are ideal for family outings or company parties.

Once the energy reserves have been used up, guests can enjoy hot and cold drinks and food as well as sweets in the cozy gastronomy area

Cross-country skiers also get their money's worth in the Sportarena. In addition to its own Arena trails, it is the starting point for a 100 km long network of interconnected trails (Liebenau-Karlstift-Langschlag).

Of course, children and young people are also very welcome to enjoy cross-country skiing in the Sportarena.

FLUTLICHT & KUNSTSCHNEE LOIPE
Thanks to the snowmaking system, ideal conditions can already be created for cross-country skiers in Liebenau when the snow is still a long time coming in other areas. Then you can already find perfect conditions for a cross-country skiing excursion and cross-country training on the artificial snow trail.
With the LED lighting, it is possible to go cross-country skiing in the evening after dark. The 1.2 km long arena trail (circuit) is equipped with a high-quality lighting system from HEDO and therefore also enables training in the evening hours.

LASER-BIATHLON
In addition to our cross-country skiing offer, we offer all interested cross-country skiers, whether skaters or classic skiers, the opportunity to get a taste of biathlon and get to know the fascination of this sport. With exclusive appointments, it is also possible to practice on an ongoing basis. A modern laser system with 4 shooting ranges is available in the starting area of the cross-country ski trails next to the curling rink. This silent and lead-free way of "shooting" is completely safe and also suitable for children and young people, no previous knowledge is required. Instructions and tips are provided by experts on site.
