The Way of St John, Austria's answer to the Way of St James, follows a route in the form of a lily (the symbol of light) for more than 80 kilometres through the wonderful, hilly landscape of the Mühlviertler Alm.

During the hike, you'll have no problems parking in Pierbach if you come by car.

First tour: Pierbach –St. Leonhard (24 km)

Depending on your respective arrangement, your luggage will be picked up in Pierbach. You will then hike to St. Leonhard b. Fr., where you will be picked up in the evening and stay the night at Hotel Neubauer.

Second tour: St. Leonhard – Kaltenberg (21 km)

On the next morning, you will be taken back to St. Leonhard, go to Kaltenberg and then return to Hotel Neubauer.

Third tour: Kaltenberg – Pierbach (27 km)

You will begin the third tour in Kaltenberg right at the hotel and hike to Pierbach, where your luggage will be waiting for you.
