Heiligen-Geist-Gasse takes its name from the small chapel, which today can only be recognised by the striking door in an eye-catching donkey-back portal.
It was built as a chapel dedicated to the Virgin Mary, but was renamed the Chapel of the Holy Spirit during the Reformation, as the Protestants did not worship the Virgin Mary.Open to the public, can only be viewed from the outside
