Fine Mühlviertel-style brandies in various flavours. Our brandies are made from our own fruit, grain and wild berries. The range and flavours of our brandies vary depending on the weather and yield. We would be delighted to explain our highlights to you in more detail.
Tastings on request. We have been running a small distillery on our farm called "Lias am Berg" for two generations. Due to the location in the vegetatively disadvantaged area of the northern Mühlviertel at around 700 metres above sea level, we were granted the right to distil grain in order to be able to process the fruit, some of which does not ripen sufficiently here. My parents were already distilling grain and fruit schnapps in a "Jessenigg" 80 litre water bath community distillery. I helped distil schnapps on my parents' farm from a young age and discovered a passion for it at an early age. In the beginning, our fruit and grain brandies were bottled without labels in 1 litre bottles and sold mainly to friends and acquaintances. Through the personal development of my skills in the field of schnapps distilling through various courses, I was not only able to gradually improve the quality of the products, but also paid more attention to the presentation, calculation and marketing. Since then, the brandies have only been bottled in 0.2 litre, 0.35 litre and 0.5 litre bottles, labelled for the different varieties and offered according to a price list.Tastings from October to March
