Nordic Centre Bohemian Forest

Nearly 78 kilometers of trails of varying difficulty are cross-country skiers at your feet. Those who are only at the beginning of their long running career, tips from experienced cross-country training waiting and the top pick when equipment rentals on site. Who enjoys the company of other cross-country skiers, starts in the heart of the Nordic center in Schöneben. There train professionals in addition to cross-country skiing classic cross-country skiers and-comers in parallel with the nimble skaters.
Built on a plateau at 1000 m altitude with the entry points Schöneben, Grünwald and Oberhaag, nestled in an impressive scenic backdrop of the starting point is the most beautiful forest trails of the Bohemian Forest.
The high-altitude trails with about 80 km are groomed for skating and classic skiing. When you enter Schöneben there is a Sho-Lo on the children are playfully introduced to the cross-country skiing. The varied circuit with ski jump, wave runs, slalom, and various other obstacles, you can quickly to safety on the skis.
The Bohemian Forest Arena combines next to the Nordic center all the important facilities such as cross-country ski school and rental, locker rooms, showers, restrooms, restaurants, petting zoo to under one roof.
The entire network of cross-country trails in the Bohemian Forest adventure region in the Upper Mühlviertel covers almost 148 km (78 km of high-altitude trails and approx. 70 km of valley trails) when snow conditions are good, and the trails are excellently groomed.
