Reopening of the Jauker Museum - history at your fingertips

After many years, the time has finally come again:
The Jauker Museum is opening its doors again and invites all those interested to immerse themselves in the world of "back in the day".

What once began with the passion for collecting of Josef Jauker senior, the grandfather of today's businessman Max Jauker, has developed into a unique collection. With great dedication, he collected old objects from various areas of life over the decades - from everyday life, shopping and refueling to military memorabilia.

After his death, Josef Jauker, Max's father, continued the collection and thus preserved the valuable memory of times gone by. Now Max Jauker has set himself the task of making this piece of history accessible to the public again.

"It would be a shame if all the memories contained in these objects were to be forgotten," says Max Jauker. "We want to show people what life was like in the past - with all its facets."

In Kurt Schopper and Walter Springer, dedicated guides have been found for this heartfelt project. They guide visitors through the museum with great knowledge and palpable passion, bringing them closer to the history behind the exhibits.

Information and bookings for the guided tours can be made directly with Kurt Schopper on 0664/13 21 542 or with Walter Springer on 0676/344 58 36.

A visit to the museum can also be wonderfully combined with a stop at Café Jauker - whether for a leisurely breakfast or a coffee and cake in the afternoon.
