The state-of-the-art exhibition in the museum of local history in Schwarzenberg is dedicated to the famous poet Adalbert Stifter.
In the local museum in the old elementary school is in addition to tools and equipment of the rural craft and the documentation of community development and the Holy Grave as a permanent exhibition.
Adalbert Stifter Museum "My whole soul is attached to this area" ... The most modern exhibition in the Museum of Local History Schwarzenberg in the old elementary school is devoted to the famous "son of the Bohemian Forest" Adalbert Stifter. The visitor receives an overview of Stifter's life, his literary and pictorial work. In addition, Stifter's work as a pedagogue and school inspector as well as his visionary school construction offensive in the state of the Enns are honored. Among the highlights of the presentation are the world's only donor hologram, the "Ride of the Witiko", from the satellite perspective and the award-winning Stifter monument design for Linz by Othmar Schimkowitz (1900). "Colorful stones" ... is called the geological business card of the Bohemian Forest. Aural rehearsals from selected foundations provide a listening station. Detailed information on the reception history of Stifter can be found on an information column, such as: Founder monuments and memorials as well as localities in the German-speaking area, which bear the name of the "most famous son of the Bohemian Forest".
