In Bad Kreuzen, various culinary hiking trails are waiting to be discovered. A detour to the castle is worthwhile, where you can let your gaze wander over the countryside from the castle tower. The route continues through the wild, romantic Wolfsschlucht gorge, which the priest Sebastian Kneipp appreciated for his healing treatments, to the Speck-Alm. Back in Bad Kreuzen, you pass through the largest Kneipp garden in Austria to the Curhaus, the 1st center for traditional European medicine. After contemplative moments in the Kneipp garden and refreshments in the cafeteria, the hiking trail takes you to the Schurzmühle in around 30 minutes, where the picnic basket is already waiting for you.

The hiking trail to us takes you from the castle to the center of Bad Kreuzen in about 10 minutes. A detour to the largest Kneipp garden in Austria is worthwhile here. After a refreshment in the cafeteria of the Kneipp spa house and some contemplative moments, it's another 30 minutes to the Schurzmühle, where your picnic basket is already waiting for you.
