The church in its current form was built in the 14th century and dedicated to St Gallus.

Worth seeing are the late Gothic ribbed vault, the high altar and the pulpit from 1770.
1770, a fresco on the left-hand side of the nave dating from around 1500.
The main portal was built in 1981 to a design by Prof Dorn.
The church was completely renovated in 2006/2007.
