Austria's first and largest organic medicinal herb garden with around 1500 different medicinal plants has been fascinating visitors with its variety of medicinal herbs since 1980. Our organic medicinal herb garden is a place of peace and relaxation - perfect for escaping the hectic pace of everyday life and slowing down the senses. The path through the garden lets you consciously perceive the richness and beauty of nature again. You can learn to marvel again in the carefully tended grounds.

The impressive variety of plants covers an area of around 7,800 m².
Well selected and clearly laid out, the grounds invite you to linger - an oasis of relaxation and a place of wonder for young and old. For those who are particularly interested, we also offer training courses and seminars where you can get to know the world of medicinal herbs with all your senses.

A special symbol of this is our Bio.Genuss.Bankerl made of Mühlviertel granite and wood: a place to pause, enjoy and arrive.
We are part of the Bio.Genuss Mühlviertel-Danube project, which links organic businesses even more closely with restaurants and accommodation providers - for tangible enjoyment and genuine origin.

• Open Wednesday-Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm from May to the beginning of October.
• Every first Sunday of the month at 10:00 a.m. for herbal coffee.
• Every Wednesday from 14:00 to 16:30 interested people meet for a herb chat in the garden or in the herb room to talk about the herb hobby.
• Every Friday of the month(only in good weather!) hobby gardeners meet from 14:00 to 16:00 under the motto Erd-verbunden to help in the organic medicinal herb garden, followed by a cozy get-together with drinks and herb cake.

Groups of 10 people or more

• Bío medicinal herb garden tours EUR 10.00 per person without tasting and EUR 20.00 with tasting of herbal specialties. Groups of 21 persons or more receive one free entry and groups of 42 persons or more receive two free entries.
• The area of the garden with its party area and shady resting place under the old lime tree is also ideal for small celebrations for up to 30 people (birthdays, weddings, christenings, anniversaries, company parties and more). You are welcome to enjoy being together here. Price on request. Either take everything with you or order a "Herbs for all the senses - buffet".
• The organic medicinal herb garden can also be booked for outdoor seminars (meditation, yoga, etc.) and photo shoots .
