Explore two of the oldest art techniques known to man to produce dynamic templates and surface effects with contemporary hand felting techniques.
The workshop will provide experience in simple drawing, cut-out and collage techniques, using beautiful wools and fabrics to create painterly qualities and decorative effects in hand felted fabric. Liz will share simple design solutions exploring colour, rhythmical structure, patterning, texture and mark making. Students will be encouraged to sample and gain confidence with materials and try new methods and processes. Create a unique textile for the home or as a fashion accessory.
