The climbing rock with climbing aids that offers a view of the Mühlviertel. Located on the W1, on some days you can let your gaze wander as far as the Alps. The W1 hiking trail starts at the market square and we walk towards the sports field, then we hike through meadows and fields through an ascending section of forest towards Plochwald to the Edlbauer - Steinfelsen. Here you can climb on the stone rock, which is secured by climbing aids, and enjoy a wonderful view to the west. An idyllic place of power. If you are brave or simply sporty, you can climb up a secured via ferrata and enjoy the view. The Edlbauer rock, a rock tower built as if by a giant hand, is downright exciting. A mystical place that invites you to explore the rocks. The view stretches far across the countryside to the ski piste on the Sternstein. Every conceivable rock formation lies beneath your feet when you reach the viewing platform. There must have been some very creative giants at work here.
