When I look into the eyes of an animal, I don't see an animal, I see a living being, a friend, a soul. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ### What is riding pedagogy? Riding pedagogy involves playful encounters with the pony (horse) in its natural environment and offers a whole range of experiences "around the pony", "with the pony" and "on the pony". Through playful interaction with the pony, riding pedagogy makes it easy to develop and expand skills. ### Advantages of riding pedagogy: \*shy children become more self-confident through a sense of achievement \*overactive children experience the inner peace that ponies radiate \*the child's (adolescent) motor skills are further developed \*Movement promotes readiness to learn at school \*Fitness and body awareness are promoted \*Postural damage can be prevented \*Trunk muscles are trained \*Sense of balance and rhythm skills are trained \*Teamwork skills are promoted \*Responsible interaction with animals and nature is taught \*Experience ponies as fellow creatures, as partners **Important:** The riding pedagogy is intended for all children!
