The unique atmosphere that has made these master classes so popular over the years is the result of their very personal, committed approach, supported by the family environment in always small towns, where participants and lecturers can live and work under one roof. The course has found its home in Bad Leonfelden since 1998. The course is open to everyone, regardless of educational level and age. There are only active participants without pre-selection by the lecturers. The smooth cooperation of the ten lecturers also gives the participants the opportunity to play various lectures, preferably different works. For example, it is quite possible to work as a pianist with a string lecturer and vice versa! The chamber music is supervised by all lecturers, so that the instrument-specific questions of each ensemble member can be dealt with in class. Everyone is also strongly encouraged to make active use of the opportunity to listen to all lecturers! The podium of the concert hall in the “Leo Kultursaal” is available to everyone as part of the almost daily participant concerts in order to try out the works created in the course in an atmosphere without competitive pressure.
