Leonfeldner beer
Old brewing tradition - reinterpreted
Beer was brewed in Bad Leonfelden until 1920. Gerald Weixlbaumer has continued this old tradition since 2015. However, with a newly interpreted, modern approach: as a creative beer. So handmade beer from high quality raw materials in small batches. And in creative and bold varieties, such as chili beer or herbal beer with ginger and wormwood. Because the motto of the young brewer is: "Beer has to taste good, but it can also surprise." The most important thing is and remains the quality of the beer. That is why high-quality, regional raw materials in organic quality are used, the water comes directly from the Sternstein .
The beers
Bärchens Gold: tasty, light blond, naturally cloudy, slightly fruity nose, round malt body, discreet hop bitter in the finish. Original wort 12 ° Plato; Color EBC 15.7; Bitter value IBU 31
Black Baron: dry oatmeal stout, a large proportion of bitter hops, aromas of coffee and bitter chocolate. Original wort 14 ° Plato; Color EBC 147.5; Bitter value EBU 28
Chili Billy: Spice beer with organic chilli, distinctive chilli note, subtle sharpness in the finish, beautifully integrated in the malt sweetness. Original wort 13 °; Plato color 37.2; Bitter value EBU 43
Vermouth droplets: herb beer, stuffed with ginger root and wormwood herb, fruity ginger nose, a hint of spiciness, fresh fruitiness in the first taste, dry wormwood bitterness in the finish.
