The Calvary was the so-called "Güaßhübl" because it is the source of numerous springs, some of which still supply Julbach with water today. At first it was a pasture for sheep, a common pasture of landowners. Later, the land was divided among all of them. The Drosselstein is a rock group behind the chapel - a larger granite boulder. There are depressions in the stone on top. At the turn of the century, the site was still bare and vacant. Now Calvary is wooded. Unfortunately, over the course of many years, the Stations of the Cross and the Calvary Chapel became more and more dilapidated. It was not until 1966 that a major renovation took place and the Stations of the Cross were rededicated. Every year in Holy Week, but also in May and autumn, a procession goes to Calvary.
