The Roman Catholic parish church dedicated to St George belongs to the Freistadt deanery in the diocese of Linz. The church is a listed building. The original two-nave, three-bay hall nave on an almost square floor plan was extended to the west and south in 1962/1963. In the late Gothic area, there is a dense, yoke-shaped ribbed vault with ribbed triple beams to the triumphal arch on three octagonal nave pillars, the western one new from 1962/1963, the extension area in the nave has a flat ceiling. The recessed two-bay late Gothic chancel with a three-eighths closure has a star-shaped spring diamond vault on round services with a ribbed distal beam in the polygon similar to the three-beam form in the Rainbach parish church. The reconstructed new baroque-style tower stands on the north side of the nave. The two-storey sacristy building stands in the northern corner of the choir.
