Uniquely situated on the Mühlviertler Alm, nestled in a reserve for the preservation of fauna and flora, the Gstöttner Riding Park is a guarantee for joie de vivre and relaxation! Location of the riding centre In the middle of the beautiful, typically Mühlviertel landscape, on a hill with a view of the Ruttenstein ruins and the Naarntal valley below, the newly built riding centre rises up after a fire in 1999 and nestles into the landscape. The farm is located 2km outside the village of Schönau. Facilities at the riding centre * barbecue area, curling rink, guest garden * Swimming pool in the village * 6 double rooms * 2 triple rooms * 2 multi-bed rooms * Finnish herbal/steam sauna * 12 riding horses (warmblood) * Paddock also for guest horses * 10 guest horse boxes * Connection to riding trail network with over 500 km of well signposted riding trails Catering at the riding stables The Kriechbaumer family runs the farm with love and expertise, offering a wide range of options for all guests, whether sport, leisure or trail riders. In our own equestrian café-restaurant, the palate is spoilt with freshly prepared home cooking and real "delicacies", the comfortable rooms as well as the sauna and beautiful garden for convivial get-togethers make every rider's heart beat faster. General information about the riding centre With over 500 km of well signposted riding trails, friendly neighbours and a landscape that leaves nothing to be desired, you will experience pure riding pleasure.
