There is a 5-kilometer cross-country trail around the Roadlberg, which is ideal for both classic style and skating.
Paradise for many cross-country skiers and mountain bikers.
Ottenschlag. Are you looking for a well-groomed cross-country ski run? Then take a trip to the Roadlberg landscape protection area in Wintersdorf near Ottenschlag. As long as the snow plays along, Franz Keck tracks cross-country trails for classic and skating runners every day. You can still walk there even in the evening.
Keck built a two-kilometer floodlit route through beautiful forest on his property.
The idyllic Mühlviertel trails have long been an insider tip for cross-country skiers.
Those who do not own cross-country skis can borrow them in Wintersdorf.
In the 730-meter-high excursion station, Keck serves cross-country skiers and hikers all sorts of organic specialties from his farm and deer enclosure. There is a playground for children. The Roadl-Stüberl is open Friday and Saturday from 1 p.m., on Sunday from 10 a.m. In addition to varied cross-country trails, Franz Keck and his racing son Carlos also set up a modern mountain bike course. Hobby athletes as well as racers are welcome there. Mountain bike races are planned again this year, including an Austria Cup competition in autumn.
