The Mühlviertel brand
Mühlviertel Marken GmbH was founded on 1 September 2014 and sees its principle tasks in the management and continued development of the tourism brand Mühlviertel. Within this framework image marketing - is as important as coordinated product development of tourist Mühlviertel products that are in keeping with the brand.
In addition, strong business partners from the region will be involved, in order to ensure mutual support for the Mühlviertel brand.
The Mühlviertel is one of the five branded destinations in Upper Austria. The Mühlviertel brand is based on a branding process carried out in 2013, in which around 80 persons from different sectors took part with great commitment; they gave a clear affirmation for a Mühlviertel tourism brand. At the heart of the brand the questions, “who are we” and “what do we represent” were answered and the Mühlviertel was defined as the “region of the future in the three-country corner of Austria, Germany and the Czech Republic for a holiday with panorama view”. Operational brand manual Mühlviertel
In order to make the „brand Mühlviertel“ tangible for guests , the support is required of in particular those who provide the tourist product and are thereby closest to the guest: the tourism service providers. Only with your help will it be possible to establish the “brand Mühlviertel” in the minds of guests.
In several workshops in 2014 and 2015 representatives of the tourist enterprises from different categories worked on the content of the operational brand manual for the brand destination . In that process it was important to develop proposals to adapt the selection of products all along the service provision chain precisely to the brand values of the “brand Mühlviertel“. This manual therefore sees itself as a guideline with recommendations for the implementation of the “brand Mühlviertel“ in the enterprises.
