Close copyright ### Nordic Centre Bohemian Forest The **Šumava Nordic Centre** in Schöneben near Ulrichsberg offers ideal conditions for cross-country skiers of all levels with **almost 80 km of trails**. Nestled in the dense Šumava forest near the Czech border, cross-country skiers enjoy the protection of the trees and the breathtaking snow. The cross-country skiing season lasts over 100 days here. The network of trails covers various levels of difficulty, so that both beginners and sporty skiers get their money's worth. There is a **Spi-Lo** in **Schöneben** for children in particular, which provides a fun introduction to cross-country skiing. You will find all the important facilities such as a **cross-country skiing school**, **equipment hire**, **restaurant** and **accommodation** in the Šumava Nordic Centre.
